Position Summary
The Part time Delivery Driver (Class C Driver’s License) responsibilities include pulling orders, checking orders that are already made, and delivering orders. When not making deliveries, the employee will also restock new items, restocking returned items, restocking misplaced items. The warehouse associate will also receive incoming deliveries from vendors/suppliers which includes checking for appropriate quantities and items according to invoices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Tracking outbound and inbound inventory and notifying office of shortages
- Notifying office damage reports
- Delivering orders to customers
- Assisting in warehouse when necessary
- Packaging finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Staging finished products for loading
- Loading finished products onto truck
- Unloading materials from truck
- Moving materials to warehouse storage
- Operating within standard operating procedures and Job Safety Analysis
- Completing daily logs (if requested)
- Communicating with coworkers
- Turning off and locking out equipment when not in use
- Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to drive delivery trucks, use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is required to drive; stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
