The Salthill Hotel have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our reservations team. This person will aid to maximize hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by receiving, handling and processing guest reservations under the direction of the Reservations Manager.
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MAXIMISES HOTEL REVENUE AND GUEST SATISFACTION
· Greets guests over the phone in a friendly, courteous manner.
· Manages phone lines for multiple hotels for direct bookings for each hotel
· Records reservation information accurately
· Ensures all emails are responded to in an efficient and timely manner
· Handles group bookings / tour groups with a lot of attention to detail
· Informs other departments of VIP arrivals.
· Upselling to all customers for amenities for rooms
· Records requests for special accommodations and suites.
· Keeps the Revenue informed of new group bookings.
· Manages guests’ expectations with any requests they may have
· Daily detailed arrival check to make sure front of house are aware of all bookings and requests
· Maximise customer satisfaction and hotel revenue by promoting hotel restaurants and other services and facilities to guests.
