The SOSi team is growing in Europe and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VOIP/CUCM Administrator to join our team. As a VOIP/CUCM Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our organization's Voice over IP (VOIP) infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). Your expertise will contribute to efficient communication, optimal call routing, and the overall stability and performance of our VOIP systems.
Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) infrastructure. This includes managing call routing, user provisioning, device configuration, and dial plans to ensure seamless and reliable VOIP services.
- Monitor the performance of the VOIP system, analyze call quality metrics, and troubleshoot issues related to call routing, device registration, and voice connectivity. This includes identifying and resolving voice quality and latency issues.
- Manage and configure voice gateways, including H.323, SIP, and MGCP gateways. This involves implementing and troubleshooting protocols, configuring gateways for PSTN connectivity, and managing voice codecs.
- Integrate CUCM with other collaboration applications, such as Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Contact Center Express, or third-party applications. This includes configuring and managing voicemail, auto-attendant, and call center functionalities.
- Implement security measures to protect VOIP systems from unauthorized access and potential threats. This includes configuring access controls, implementing encryption, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, apply patches and firmware updates, and ensure the compatibility and stability of the VOIP infrastructure. This includes testing new features and functionalities before deployment.
Qualifications
- In scope DOD Secret clearance is required.
- Education: Masters degree with 10 years’ experience or a Bachelors degree with 12 years’ experience
- Must have CCNP Enterprise Core with Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (ENARSI) Elective or CCNP Security.
- Must have at least 8 - 10 years of experience supporting Cisco networks in a medium size IP network that encompasses routing, switching and VoIP communications. Experience should also include the ability to support, troubleshoot and maintain high availability DOD networks to include device patching and upgrades.
- Extensive experience of Cisco products is required.
- Must be able to meet and maintain TESA and/or Host Nation requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid US passport.
- Ability to travel to customer sites.
- ITIL V4 certification preferred.
- Fluency in a foreign language desired but not required.
