For our team based in Vienna (1070) we are looking for a full time:Senior PHP Backend Developer (all genders)
100% remote possible
We are looking for a backend developer to fit into our team to work with us to develop modern, scalable, and resilient web applications for renewable energy systems that make the user experience even better.
What you will be doing
- Developing cutting edge features for operating and managing photovoltaic assets
- Implementation of backends for data driven web applications
- Defining APIs, integrations, and exchange points in alignment with our partners
- Development of backends/CMS for our product websites
- Implementation, enhancements, and optimizations of our shared library of Laravel packages
- Write documentation for your own contributions
- Instrument automated tests to ensure highest product quality
What you will need to succeed
- 4+ years of experience as PHP developer
- Solid knowledge about object-oriented PHP and the Laravel Framework
- Confidently working with Git and GitLab
- Experience in backing up your implementation with tests (e.g., PHPUnit)
- Experience with SOLID principles, REST API design, and integrating with other APIs and web services
- Experience with MySQL or other DBMSs (e.g., Aurora, PostgreSQL)
It is a plus if you have experience with
- Experience with Infrastructure is a big plus!
- Bonus: Experience with DevOps and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, AWS ECS).
- Bonus: Knowledge of HTML5/JavaScript/CSS3/VueJS
